- SIL encourages breeders to consider using use Across Flock evaluations whenever possible to ensure best use is made of information available. SIL-ACE is the largest across flock, across breed genetic evaluation in the world. It is important to understand that valid comparison of genetic merit for sheep in different flocks requires good genetic connectedness. Goal trait registration
In order to genetically evaluate some traits a flock must be registered with a 3rd party service provider. If a flock is not registered, some BVs and indexes may be blank.
